Oxilates are compounds found in many foods. They can become problematic at high levels and cause histamine release.

Oxilate sources:

  • Green curly kale (dino Kale is okay)
  • Most beans
  • Most seeds
  • Nuts (almonds and cashews)
  • Okra
  • Potatoes
  • Spinach
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Swiss chard
  • Vitamin C

Dr. Michael Ruscio has some great information on how to diagnose and treat oxilate sensitivity.
